FALL 2017 & FALL 2018
The Student Senate at Parsons School of Design hosts an annual fundraiser gala to showcase student work and raise funds for student grants. As the Branding Director of the senate, I was responsible for branding and promoting this event at the school.
These are iterations of the posters I made for the Spring 2018 and 2019 galas. These didn’t make the cut and remained iterations, but I liked them more than the final event branding.
With the theme being Social Justice, I attempted to focus more on the goals of social justice practices– peace, equality and inclusivity– rather than conveying anger and rebellion. I used pastel colors for the same and the imagery conveys intersectionality and togetherness.
Our theme that year was futurism. Although I didn’t want to limit futuristic imagery to just technology, I wanted the concept to feel transportive, boundless and imaginative.
